Luxembourg research for a smart agriculture presented at EU meeting

On the 22nd October 2015, Dr Philippe Delfosse from the Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) Department presented at the EU28 Agriculture and Fisheries Council meeting the research challenges tackled by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) to reach a climate smart agriculture. Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech and CONVIS were also invited. The meeting was organised within the framework of the Luxembourg Presidency of the European Council and chaired by the Luxembourg Minister for Agriculture, Fernand Etgen. Dr Philippe Delfosse highlighted that actions related to manure management and conversion into bioenergy and fertilizers of high agronomic value have the highest potential impact.
