Soon back to work for "Betriber & Emwelt"

Published on 30/08/2016

In September 2016, the information sessions organised by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) as part of its "Betriber & Emwelt" and "Helpdesk REACH&CLP Luxembourg" activities will resume. A "lunch meeting" on the biocidal products label is scheduled for September 27th and a briefing on the "Commodo Legislation for metal construction workshops" on September 28th. The full programme of activities in 2016 is available online.

LIST, through its "Environmental Research and Innovation" (ERIN) department, addresses the specific needs and challenges of public authorities and businesses, especially SMEs in Luxembourg in particular in the areas of control and prevention of industrial emissions (use of best available techniques, Commodo-Incommodo) and management regulations on chemicals (REACH & CLP). As part of the "Betriber & Emwelt" cycle, LIST, together with the Administration of the Environment (AEV), offers companies and Luxembourg public structures a series of information sessions on topics related to the environment.

The Helpdesk REACH&CLP Luxembourg, a national technical support service, is the free contact point to answer questions relating to the implementation of European regulations REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) and CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of chemical substances and mixtures).
