Published on 20/03/2015

On March 2014 in Copenhagen (Denmark), ERTICO - ITS Europe announced the launch of the new EU co-funded network P4ITS - Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) for ITS. Transport infrastructure operators from 10 countries to commonly foster the use of PPI for Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS): the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is a partner of P4ITS project co-financed by the European Union through the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP).

Since the creation of the network last year, various actions have been launched in order for the P4ITS network to advocate how Public Procurement of Innovation can be best carried out in Europe to support the deployment of ITS. Using their expertise, LIST researchers have been sharing knowledge and experience in procurement of cooperative ITS. Being part of this network means contributing to the exploration of common issues and theme, with a view to a more common or concerted approach.

In this context, LIST invites you to participate in the stakeholder consultation on PPI for ITS. A survey is available until March 27, 2015 as an online Questionnaire at p4its.eu/external-consultation. The aim of this consultation is to check on the results of a first P4ITS network's analysis and to receive information on PPI from external parties.

>> All info about the consultation available at p4its.eu. The results will be integrated in a Guidelines to be presented next October at the 22nd ITS World Congress in Bordeaux, France.
