On 28 April 2016, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) welcomed a Moroccan delegation led by Mr. Saâdeddine El Othmani, former Foreign Affairs Minister of Morocco, and composed of executives from Universiapolis, the International Private University of Agadir.

This working day was an opportunity to recall the existing long tradition of cooperation between LIST and its Moroccan partners while focusing on the mutual desire to increase this collaboration. LIST’s guests visited a number of technological demonstrators installed in the LIST Showroom of which the tangible table for collaborative decision making applied first, to the logistics sector and, secondly, to space technologies for flood management. They also discovered LIST activities in smart building. M. Crean, CEO of LIST and Mr. El Othmani took the opportunity to discuss a number of topics related to Morocco's priorities in terms of research and innovation in support of the local industry and jointly expressed their willingness to soon lead to joint major projects.

After their visit to LIST, the delegation was accompanied and put into contact with Luxembourg various economic players.
