SUCCESS to participate in the 2015 CIVITAS Forum

From October 7-9, 2015, the project “Sustainable Urban Consolidation CentrES for ConStruction” (SUCCESS), coordinated by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), will join three other European projects at a stand entitled “CIVITAS 2020 – new projects in Urban Freight Logistics” at the 2015 CIVITAS Forum in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

SUCCESS, which aims to reduce the negative impacts and costs of urban freight transport generated by the construction sector through improved Supply Chain Management and Construction Consolidation Centres (CCCs), is one of the ten new Horizon 2020 projects financed within the Mobility for Growth programme. SUCCESS was selected by the European Commission to be part of CAPITAL, a project carried out by CIVITAS, which supports collaboration between European cities to help them test and develop an integrated set of measures for sustainable urban mobility.

Participation in the 2015 CIVITAS Forum, the biggest event dedicated to mobility and smart cities in Europe, will bring great visibility to the SUCCESS project and LIST while allowing the team to network and collaborate with other urban freight-focused projects from across Europe.
