Automatisation (Smart Building)

In terms of automation to improve building uses, LIST is seeking ways to make buildings smarter, more energy efficient and more comfortable using information from sensor networks.

Project example:

In the GOLIATH project, we are developing, in partnership with Poznan University of Economics in Poland, a smart interface which allows the interconnected elements of a house or building to interact with each other in order to provide the level of comfort which best meets the user's needs. According to detected temperature, light, air quality or acoustic variations, the solution determines how values must change to reach the ideal level of comfort and what operations are needed in terms of ventilation, heating, lighting, blinds, etc. to do so. These operations are then automatically activated according to the objective which is needed. + Learn more
