The doctoral Education Unit in Hydrological Sciences (Hydro-CSI) is contributing to the exploration of new and interdisciplinary research avenues to overcome limitations in our current understanding of catchment functioning.

Hydro-CSI is led by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in the framework of its activities in environmental research, related to the Environmental Sensing and Modelling Unit and to the Catchment and Eco-hydrology group (LIST research group activities can be followed on Twitter).

Hydro-CSI is managed in with four partners:

The Research Unit in Engineering Sciences
The Doctoral School in Science and Engineering (DSSE)
University of Luxembourg (LU)

The Vienna Doctoral Programme on Water Resources Systems
Vienna University of Technology (AT)

The Hydrology and Quantitative Water Management Group
Wageningen UR
(NL)

The Institute of Water and River Basin Management
Karlsuhe Institute of Technology (DE)

Hydro-CSI is co-funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund:

Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR)
