Description

Local Flexibility Market (LFM) mechanisms can potentially support distribution grid operation through grid-aware customers that make trading and consumption decisions with the grid information from the Distribution System Operator (DSO). This work proposes a deterministic scheduling framework for optimal decision making in the LFM, optimizing the operational process of the DSO and economical flexibility provision. The proposed structure has enabled new market roles and improved the operation of distribution networks, showing optimal decision making for the operational perspective of the system operator.
