This workshop will take place in Luxembourg which is surrounded by three EU member states (France, Germany and Belgium), it’s unique geographical nature means that managing incidents is often implicitly a cross-border affair. The workshop will utilise this unique context through inviting organisations from the greater region, as well as those from larger and also small European Nations who face similar challenges.

The workshop aim to provide specifications for standardise multi-stakeholder situational awareness system which is being proposed as part the the EU funded SAYSO project. In order to inform the debate speakers who are experts on cross-border communication, satellite technologies and remote sensing will be invited to present the state of the art in these technologies.
