Former President of Bell Labs, Corporate Chief Technology Officer, Nokia
| Marcus is currently working on his “next big thing” and helping a number of small, medium and large companies and institutes formulate their technical and innovation strategies for the next industrial revolution. Marcus is considered one of the luminaries in the ICT industry in terms of the clarity, depth and breadth of his vision. Until March 2021, Marcus Weldon was the Corporate Chief Technology Officer for Nokia and was responsible for coordinating the technical strategy and driving technological and architectural innovations into Nokia’s end-to-end networking systems and software portfolio. In addition, as President of Bell Labs, Marcus was responsible for defining and creating the next disruptive innovations and the pioneering research that will form the foundation of the future ICT industry. Marcus has won numerous technical, scientific and engineering society awards for his work and technical vision and leadership throughout his career, but is arguably best known for his ability to distill complex, multi-dimensional problems into the essential ‘simple’ answer or solution that should be pursued. For this reason, he is highly sought after as an advisor to governmental agencies and departments in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and around the world, as well as to industrial and enterprise CxOs, to venture capitalists and private equity funds, and the larger investment community. Marcus holds a Ph.D. degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, and a Bachelor of Science joint honors degree from King’s College in London, UK. |

Chief Executive Officer Luxembourg Space Agency | Ministry of the Economy of Luxembourg | Marc Serres is the Chief Executive Officer of the Luxembourg Space Agency. He heads the Luxembourg Delegation at the European Space Agency (ESA) and represents Luxembourg in the Council of ESA. He has been the vice-chairman of the ESA Council until June 2020. He is Government Commissioner at SES and Member of the International Academy of Astronautics. He has been Director of Space Affairs at the Ministry of the Economy of Luxembourg since January 2014. Before joining the Ministry of the Economy, Marc Serres managed Luxembourg’s relations with ESA at the Ministry of Higher Education and Research as an industrial policy officer for 8 years. Prior to becoming a civil servant, he spent 5 years in the satellite communications antenna manufacturing industry within the company HITEC Luxembourg S.A., first as a Project Engineer and finally as Chief Engineer for satcom products development. Marc Serres holds a PhD in optoelectronics and a Master in electrical engineering with specialty in microwave frequencies, both from the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium |

Chief Executive Officer Institut Luxembourgeois de Regulation (ILR)
| Luc Tapella started his career as auditor at PwC and at the Luxemburgish bank BCEE (Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat), after graduating with an MSc in Economics from the University of Aix-en-Provence (France). Six years later, in 1999, Luc joined one of Europe’s most important private satellite operator, SES ASTRA. Within a space of three years, he progressed from Marketing Project Coordinator in the Marketing and Commercial Department to Assistant of the director in the Marketing Department. In 2002, he moved to SATLYNX, an SES subsidiary, where he gained experience as a Senior Finance and Administration Manager and as a member of the executive committee. Luc Tapella continued his career at ILR (Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation) in 2005 and worked as the head of the Department of Economic Studies, and Department of Accounting and Administration. Over these years, he was also responsible of the postal sector. After, Luc Tapella joined as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, Wagner Management, the lead company for the Wagner Group and was also appointed member of the executive committee, until he became in May 2015, Director of the ILR. |

Technical Head of Innovation & Technology Management, Research & Development | Graduated Istanbul Technical University – Mechanical Engineering, Ahmet Dogan joined Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey in 1996 in Engineering Management Transferred for 1 year assignment in Toyota Motor Corporation Japan in Overseas Homologation Department in 1998 In 2003 transferred permanently to Toyota Motor Europe Material Engineering Division in 2003, and worked in the field of coatings, corrosion, organic materials and finally lightweight. Beginning of 2021 got the new role as Technical Head of Innovation Technical Management, responsible for future technologies for mobility originated from Europe. |

Chief Executice Director, Belval Plant & Country Head Luxembourg | Since April 2013 Mr. Roland Bastian has been the CEO of the ArcelorMittal Belval site and keeps these responsibilities as such. Mr. Bastian (53) has the Luxemburgish nationality and joined the group in 1988 as production engineer at the rolling mills of the ArcelorMittal Belval plant. After several functions in different departments within the plant and at the Research & Development center of Esch-sur-Alzette, Mr. Bastian became CEO of ArcelorMittal Rodange and Schifflange in 2012 |

Chief Executive Officer,
| Sasha Baillie heads the Luxembourg national innovation agency and is a member of the Ministry of Economy’s coordination committee. She provides strategic or ientation to the innovation agency in line with the Government’s sustainable economic development objectives and ensures that companies are encouraged and supported in their innovation endeavours. Sasha Bail lie joined the Luxembourg Foreign Ministry in 1997 and has served on foreign diplomatic postings in Moscow as deputy head of mission of the Luxembour g Embassy and in Brussels as deputy head of mission of the Luxembour g Representation to the EU Political and Security committee, which involved c hairing EU meetings during the Luxembourg EU Presidency in 2005. She was no n-resident Luxembourg Ambassador to Serbia (2012-2016). |

Chief Executive Officer, | Marc Schiltz is the CEO of the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR). He brings a strong dedication to building a world-class research system that will generate long-term societal and economic impact for the country. Over the past ten years, he has significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of the Luxembourg research system and to build bridges with the private sector, as well as with the international research community. Under his leadership, the FNR has successfully developed programme lines to attract scientific talent to the country and to link the business ecosystem to research innovation. Since 2017, Marc Schiltz is also president of Science Europe, the Brussels-based association of all major European public research funding and research performing organisations, representing a combined annual investment in research of nearly 20 bn EUR in 27 countries. In this role, he has been setting the European agenda to foster Open Science and is currently chairing cOAlition-S, an international consortium of major research funders that have agreed to implement open access policies in a coordinated way. He also sits on the Governing Board of the Global Research Council, which comprises the heads of research funding agencies from around the world.
