Published on 26/03/2015

The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is the coordinator of the European project e-SENS for Luxembourg. Bringing together 22 partners from 20 European countries, initial project activities began in April 2014 and will continue for three years.

About the Top story

An article dedicated to e-SENS project named "e-SENS: digitising government services across Europe" has recently been published. Government services in Europe are being modernised and made accessible online for people and companies across borders in a large-scale project that could save society billions of euros over the coming years.

>> LIST invites you to read the article available online.

About e-SENS & LIST

A Large Scale Pilot (LSP), co-financed by the ICT Policy Support Programme under the European Commission's Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), e-SENS aims to improve access to public services within EU and to support the development of the digital single market.

Within e-SENS, LIST researchers are working to implement a sustainable model and governance structure for the future cross-border service platform and to carry out and monitor pilot services in the field of eHealth in partnership with the eSanté Agency. LIST is also carrying out tasks related to the infrastructure, semantics, security and interoperability of the system that will be put in place on European level.
