The “IT for Innovative Services” (ITIS) department, with its 110 researchers and engineers, focuses on the digital transformation of operations occurring in organizations within traditional environments and digital ecosystems with the aim of improving their performance and innovation capacity. ITIS's common thread is to develop the most efficient use of big data to ensure the most appropriate decision-making process.
Since the advent of the blockchain technology, it has found its application in several industries as well in the mobility. The intention of this internship (thesis) is to investigate the degree of applicability of the blockchain in transport systems and performing technical implementation of solution by using different (the most appropriate) blockchain technology and IoT devices. The conclusion of this solution will come up implementation of an approach by using blockchain and IoT. The internship will be related to an existing project related to “Smart Waste Management Approach for Businesses using IoT” (SWAM).
