Context

The Green Tech platform is running analyses in different omics and analytical chemistry on environmental samples, from plants to water. Biotechnologies are also key in the processes of molecules of interest.

 

Description

 

In the frame of the SMARTWALL project, on the impact of dehydration/rehydration cycle on resurrection plants, different types of analyses are required to study the proteome and the metabolome of resurrection plant cells. Undifferentiated cells have been habituated to cellulose biosynthesis inhibitors by growing them on stepwise increasing concentrations of dichlobenil and isoxaben and they will be treated with 200 mM mannitol, which mimicks drought stress. Cells will be collected and would require an in-depth analysis.

The tasks will consist in the extraction of proteins for their analysis by LC-MSMS and/or 2D DIGE. A metabolomics study will also be conducted for these samples. Furthermore, results will be compiled and analysed by bioinformatics tools.

Data will be used for further publications (poster or manuscripts).
