LIST at inaugural LSfM Lecture Series & Workshops 2019-2021 conference

 

As a member of the Luxembourg Society for Microbiology (LSfM) board members, Christian Penny and Henry-Michel Cauchie two LIST researchers specialized in environmental microbiology and biotechnology will take part in the first lectures series and workshops conference entitled 'From Single Organisms to Systems Ecology and Evolution' supported by LSfM and the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR).

Prof. Jules Hoffmann, a professor at the University of Strasbourg Institute for Advanced Study (USIAS) who received a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2011 will open the  first of a 3-year sessions. He will talk about “Innate Immunity : from Insects to Humans”.

The lectures series and workshops 'From Single Organisms to Systems Ecology and Evolution' are organised every first Wednesday of the month from 2019 till 2021.
