Calculate your greenhouse gas emissions and learn about areas for further action

The information session "Tracez les émissions de Gaz à Effet de Serre (GES) de votre entreprise et identifiez les potentiels d'économie !" that was held on April 23, 2015 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts, gave nearly 40 Luxembourg professionals the chance to discover the "Betriber & CO2" tool and learn how by calculating their greenhouse gas emissions, their company could identify potential savings. Participants involved in environmental issues for their business, received key information on how to easily conduct their own assessment online with the tool and to understand the issues around such an assessment.

Launched last year by researchers from LIST's Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) department, "Betriber & CO2" allows companies to conduct their own evaluation of direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions related to their activities as a whole, or to one of their sites. Regularly improved based on user feedback sent to CO2@list.lu, the tool provides a solid basis for company decision-making and can lead to a more advanced analysis of its emissions.
