Enhanced cooperation between Luxembourg and Japan

On Wednesday 7 October 2015, in the framework of the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) and RIKEN Japan, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) joined the delegation that accompanied the FNR to Japan.

This MoU with RIKEN, the largest comprehensive research institution in Japan renowned for high-quality research in a diverse range of scientific disciplines will facilitate cooperation between researchers from Luxembourgish public research organisations and RIKEN scientists, by providing funding for the exchange of scientists at PhD, Post-Doc and senior level. During the visit, initial ideas for cooperative projects were focused on.
