Feedback on LIST's participation at the Libramont Fair

On 22-26 July, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) was represented by its Environmental Research and Innovation Department (ERIN) at the Libramont Fair. LIST presented its activities in the field of plant biotechnology. LIST is conducting research in several areas including cell culture, the production of plant-based metabolites, bioactive molecules, plant polymers and green chemistry.

Another activity presented at the Fair was biomethanisation. The use of biomass for biogas production is a process that deserves to be placed in the spotlight, especially during an agricultural fair such as the Libramont Fair.

Finally, LIST hosted at its stand Agroptimize, a company marketing the PhytoProTech platform established through research results produced by LIST and the University of Liège. PhytoProTech warns farmers about the threat of diseases, allowing them to react in time.

The high number of visitors to the stand indicates the success it continues to enjoy year after year. LIST's presence has already been confirmed for next year!
