Published on 22/05/2018

Two LIST researchers specialised in Environmental Research and Technologies (ERIN) have been selected to take part in the NASA Frontier Development Lab (FDL) this year.

About FDL

The NASA Frontier Development Lab is an applied artificial intelligence (AI) research accelerator established to maximize new AI technologies and capacities emerging in academia and the private sector and apply them to challenges in the space sciences.

The programme is a public / private partnership between NASA and commercial partners including Nvidia, Intel, IBM, Google and Lockheed Martin, who as part of the partnership provide expertise and vast computer resources necessary for rapid experimentation and iteration in data intensive areas. The Luxembourgish Ministry of the Economy is sponsoring the FDL in the framework of the SpaceResources.lu initiative.
