LIST took part in the second edition of the Blast Furnaces Festival!

On July 4th and 5th, 2015, researchers from the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) took part in the second edition of the Blast Furnaces Festival in Esch-Belval.

This event, organised by the Fonds Belval, marked the inauguration of the blast furnaces in the new City of Science, Research and Innovation, bringing together key stakeholders at the Belval site.

Researchers from the two research departments, Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) and Materials Research and Technology (MRT) presented their work to the public during the two-day event. Visitors had the opportunity to watch demonstrations on air particles, thermocromism and the development of therapeutic nano-vectors.

It is with great pleasure that LIST participated in the festival alongside Technoport and the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB), with the institute’s recent move to its new headquarters among the blast furnaces, at the Maison de l’Innovation, located at 5 avenue des Haut-Fourneaux, 4362 Esch-sur-Alzette.
