REACH, CLP and the Environment: 8 events in 2018

Published on 05/04/2018

The Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) department of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) provides scientific and technological support to meet the specific needs and challenges faced by businesses, especially small and medium-sized businesses, and public authorities in Luxembourg when it comes to preventing and managing their impact on the environment (Commodo-incommodo [impact studies], waste management and information about the best available techniques), and managing chemical product regulations (REACH&CLP).

Activities run by LIST

Throughout the year, as part of the Betriber&Emwelt event cycle, LIST and the Environment Agency (AEV) are holding a series of information sessions on environmental topics aimed at businesses and public authorities in Luxembourg.

Events are also run by the REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg,  the national technical support service and free point of contact for issues relating to the implementation of the European REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) and CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of chemical substances and mixtures) regulations; the help desk is also managed by LIST.
