Sectoral Mission in Turkey: from space technologies to automotive

The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) participated to several delegations in the framework of the official sectoral mission in Turkey. After the seminar dedicated to space technologies, LIST participated to the seminar dedicated to the automotive components industry that was held on February 13, 2015 in Istanbul. Emmanuel Bidaine from the " Materials Research and Technology" (MRT) department represented the LIST. He presented to the Turkish market LIST's activities in the materials domain developed within the MRT department and highlighted the cooperation in terms of research and development opportunities as well as in research training.

As part of this delegation, LIST met TEMSA and TIRSAN, Turkish vehicle manufacturers, as well as TAYSAD, the Association of automotive parts and components manufacturers, and some of its members of which BPLAS, producer of automotive components in polymer materials and composite, and FIGES engineering.
