On 17 January 2018, only two days after his official presentation as the new Rector of the University of Luxembourg by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Stéphane Pallage met with the management of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). Fernand Reinig, LIST’s CEO a.i. and Georges Bourscheid, Chairman of its Board of Directors, warmly welcomed this new strategic partner of Luxembourg research and innovation landscape.

Professor Stéphane Pallage took up his position as Rector of the University of Luxembourg on 1 January 2018. The 49-year-old Belgo-Canadian is the successor of Ludwig Neyses, acting as rector a.i. since the resignation of Rainer Klump in May 2017. Before joining the University, he had been serving as the Dean of the School of Management at the University of Quebec in Montreal (CA) since 2013.

During this first meeting, Stéphane Pallage had the opportunity to discover the research activities and business models offered by LIST, to visit LIST’s showroom and last but not least, to look forward to a promising future with LIST.

>> LIST congratulates Stéphane Pallage on his appointment and wishes him all the best in his new role.
