LIST will participate in the conference "Climate & Energy: Industry - Quo vadis?" organized by the Business Club Luxemburg at the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Berlin (DE) on July 7, 2016.
The results of the Paris Climate Summit COP 21, the uncertain future of the emission rights trading and the impact of current energy policy in Germany and Europe are major challenges for the industry. The energy-intensive industries, such as the steel sector, are a particular focus.
Dr Andrew Ferrone will be the representative of LIST and will make an oral presentation on the topic "COP21- A scientific background presentation". He will also take part in the panel discussion gathering all invited speakers and experts.
Together with high-level representatives from politics, industry and research, participants will discuss which course must be set in order for the industry in Germany, Luxembourg and Europe to continue to have a future.
