The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is pleased to share the special report "Luxembourg’s Innovation Is Out of This World" that was recently published by Scientific American Magazine - the world's oldest continuously running magazine with a print readership of about 2 million.

This globally distributed publication follows the successful visit of LIST to the United States (US) in April 2017, that was organized in the framework of the Luxembourg Economic Mission.

Scientific American created this report on Luxembourg's booming research and innovation community, gathering four articles : "The new capital of the Private space industry", "The tech center at the heart of Europe", "The collaboration factory" and "A testbed for the industrial revolution". LIST is mentioned numerous times in relation to projects in materials science, advanced instrumentation and data analytics.

> "Luxembourg’s Innovation Is Out of This World" - Abstract: "In the late 19th century, Luxembourg built its economy around the iron and steel industries. Today, it is building around innovation. By harnessing its robust research hubs and nimble regulatory environment, Luxembourg is positioning itself as a leader in communication, energy, and transportation. Leading corporations in technology and private space are flocking to the country. Research institutes are developing powerful industry collaborations. And the country is building technology infrastructure that could transform Europe".
