Description

In the last three decades, a considerable research effort has been devoted to find accurate statistical models for Polarimetric SAR data, and a number of distributions have been proposed. In this paper, different statistical models organized in four categories: Gaussian distributions, product models, finite mixture models, and copula based models, are reviewed. A comparison is drawn to show the advantages of different models.
