The Austrian Ambassador, His Excellency Gregor Schusterschitz, who took up his post in Luxembourg three months ago, visited LIST on Wednesday 25 November. The Ambassador wanted to find out about the activities of the institute in order to discuss opportunities for LIST researchers and Austrian research institutions to work together in the areas of the environment, materials and IT.
Prof. Gabriel Crean, CEO of LIST, began the visit with a general introduction to LIST’s positioning and activities. Prof. Lucien Hoffmann, Director of the ERIN department, continued by presenting current activities and Austro-Luxembourgish partnerships in the environmental domain. The Ambassador concluded his visit with a tour of the Showroom, where he showed great interest in the various technologies demonstrated to him.
