As a member of the European Association of the Research and Technology Associations (EARTO), the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) participated in the third edition of the EARTO Policy Event organised on 12 October 2016, in Brussels (BE).
The programme featured a keynote speech by European Commissioner for Research, Science & Innovation Carlos Moedas and a high-level panel discussion with key representatives from Research and Technology Organisations (RTOs), EU institutions and industry. It was an important day for European Innovation Policy in Brussels (BE). LIST met with all its fellow RTOs for policy alignment and exchange on how to improve the role of RTOs as a gearbox between government policy and companies.
LIST is highly involved in contributing to the core mission of RTOs, which is to harness science and technology in the service of innovation, to improve quality of life and to build economic competitiveness. More info on earto.eu and on LIST presentation page.
