On 9-10 November 2017, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) participated in the Luxembourg student fair organized by the “Centre de Documentation et d'Information sur l'Enseignement Supérieur » (CEDIES) of the Minister of Higher Education and Research at Luxexpo, Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
The student fair has already established itself as the most significant event in the region dedicated to the study abroad. As exhibitor, the aim for LIST was to promote Luxembourgish research while encouraging secondary school students to consider studying science - and perhaps even a future at LIST. Our Human resources (HR) business partners, accompanied by a LIST doctoral student, took turns to welcome people to the stand.
This 31st edition of the fair brought together 9000 visitors and exhibitors coming from 15 different countries and focused on the implementation of a digital dedicated platform, as well as on the jobs and specific training in this field. LIST representatives could present the institute, its innovative challenges and its open positions. Last but not least, the institute had the honour of welcoming the Prime Minister, Mr Xavier Bettel, and the Minister for Higher Education and Research, Mr Marc Hansen, to the LIST stand.
