Innovation Centres

Addressing complex problems requires collaborative research, advanced technologies, and a forward-looking approach that transforms scientific knowledge into practical solutions with real-world impact. LIST’s Innovation Centres are at the heart of this effort, offering specialized expertise, state-of-the-art facilities, and collaborative platforms to accelerate progress.

The Sustainable Composite Materials & Manufacturing (SCMM) Innovation Centre focuses on lightweight, sustainable composites for zero-emission mobility and cross-sector applications, advancing manufacturing technologies for civil and defense sectors.

The European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESRIC) leads research on the scientific, technical, and economic use of space resources, supporting human and robotic exploration and the emerging in-space economy.

Together, these centres form a dynamic ecosystem where ideas are transformed into prototypes, prototypes into solutions, and solutions into tangible societal and industrial impact.

By connecting research, industry, and public institutions, LIST’s Innovation Centres contribute to a sustainable, innovative, and future-ready economy, positioning Luxembourg as a reference for cutting-edge technologies on Earth and beyond.
