Environmental management and product design & evaluation: innovative tools and instruments

On 5 September 2017 at the European Convention Centre (LU) will take place the "Betriber&Emwelt conference: EMAS and EU Ecolabel" under the theme "Innovative tools and instruments for environmental managemnt and product design & evaluation".

Two schemes of the European Union - the Environmental Management System for organisations (EMAS) and the EU Ecolabel for product design and evaluation – are at the heart of this half-day Betriber&Emwelt conference made for Luxembourgish companies and in particular SMEs.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness among Luxembourgish companies on existing instruments to effectively manage environmental impacts of their activities. The event will be animated by a combination of talks by EMAS practitioners from already certified companies and representatives from the European Commission.

Betriber&Emwelt conference is a side event of the International Life Cycle Management (LCM) Conference 2017 hosted by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, taking place at the European Convention Centre from 3 to 6 September 2017.

About "Betriber & Emwelt"

This event is part of the "Betriber & Emwelt" event cycle which the Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) department of LIST, organises in collaboration with the Environment Administration (AEV). This series of events aims at offering to Luxembourg companies and public entities the possibility  to share experience and clarify questionson environmental topics through open dialogue.
