1st EuroMass Imaging 2026/EMI2026

In the framework of the “GdR-MSI” network (Groupe de Recherche – Mass Spectrometry Imaging), CNRS and LIST organise EMI 2026, (1st EuroMass Imaging 2026). 
The event will take place from April 8 to 10, 2026 at the University of Luxembourg (Belval campus). 

Registration as well as meals and coffee breaks will be free of charge. 
Only travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the participating laboratories or companies.

The program will include four plenary lectures given by:

• Prof. Jens Soltwisch (University of Münster, Germany)
• Prof. Ingela Lanekoff (University of Uppsala, Sweden)      
• Dr. Jean-Paul Barnes (CEA, France)
• Prof. David Scurr (University of Nottingham, United Kingdom)

These lectures will cover a wide range of topics (biology, health, materials, cultural heritage, etc.) and molecular and elemental MS imaging techniques (MALDI, DESI, SIMS).

In addition, the program will feature five contributed sessions, as well as two parallel sessions:

- Multiomics / Multimodal Single Cell

- Advanced Materials: Surface and Depth Characterization
